Tom Proctor is a former distance athlete from the Western New York Region. He has competed in hundreds of races in indoor/outdoor track & cross country. His highlights include:

Empire State Games Gold Medal in 2000 for the 10K Run
Member of USA Championship (USATF 8K Championship) team that won the 8K team title in 2003 (Central Park, NYC)
Broke five school records at Buffalo State College in 2001 – and is the former record holder of the indoor 3000 meter & current holder of outdoor 10,000 meter distances.
Only conference champion in Buffalo State College history at 10,000 meters (track)- 2001
All Atlantic Region (First) Team for Cross Country – 2001
6th Place (2nd American) Around The Bay 30K Road Race (1:42:27) – 2002

Tom Proctor was a freelance writer for Greater Niagara Newspapers in 2004-2005, where he eventually became a Sports writer for The Buffalo Current, a subsidy of Greater Niagara Newspapers.

Tom Proctor is one half of the WNY Music Award winning music project, Acoustic Mile for 2012.

Tom Proctor was the former lead guitarist for Mike & Tom – Acoustic Duo – who have played dozens of venues throughout Western New York, along with performing at First Niagara Center in 2004.

Mike & Tom – Acoustic Duo – were selected, and performed through the 2011 Summer for the Music at Dusk Series, Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival in 2011, from June through August on Old Falls Street & Rainbow Blvd – Niagara Falls (NY, USA)

Most recently in November of 2011 – Tom Proctor founded the new music project – Acoustic Mile – which he continues to expand his lead guitar and crossing slowly over to vocals. Proctor currently performs with The CT Scan & Acoustic Mile Trio.

Tom Proctor covers various sporting events (Buffalo Bills & Buffalo Sabres 2014-2016).
